What breaks a tie?Compare the ranks in the winning combination, then the remaining high cards (“kickers”). Suits are equal. Identical best hands split the pot. An ace can be high or low in a straight: A–2–3–4–5 is the lowest straight.
Quick rulesCall matches the bet. Raise increases it. Check passes when you owe nothing. Fold gives up the hand. “Raise to” means your total bet for this round. If your timer expires, you check when possible or fold, and sit out the next hand.
